This structural foundation of walls and a specialty slab was constructed for a new 250,000 square foot optic manufacturing plant.

Construction began with open cut excavation. The crew then formed and placed footings, walls, piers, and slabs including the setting of anchor bolts.

Within the footprint there was a 50,000 square foot clean area consisting of a 4’ deep structural base slab, as well as structural/architectural shear walls, columns, and an elevated waffle slab. The project started with 60% design structural drawings.

J. F. White employed the partnering concept with the owner and designer to successfully complete the project on time and below budget.
