345kV Shunt Reactor & Associated Primary Equipment

J. F. White's Electrical team was contracted to assemble all structures, set and connect one shunt reactor, 345kv breaker, disconnect switch, three capacitive voltage transformers (CVT), surge arrestors, and their associated grounding, conduits, EHV wiring and buswork.
In addition, J. F. White installed and furnished relay and control panels as well as low voltage control and small power cabling between the control Center and the yard equipment for current and potential protective relaying, breaker failure, control and indication, instrumentation, alarms and power supply circuitry. |
