Cape Main Track and Crossing Improvements

The project work is located in southeastern Massachusetts on the existing Cape Main Lines. The scope of work consisted of mobilization to the site, performing pre­construction and as­built survey, rehabilitation of public and private at­grade railroad crossings for MassDOT and the Massachusetts Coastal Railroad. J.F. White furnished and installed switch timber in 28 existing track switches, distribution and installation of timber crossties, replacement of existing 80#ASCE and 107#NH rail with relay rail. Furnished and instaled relay tie plates for 80#ASCE rail, new rail anchors for 80#ASCE rail. Also inluded tightening of existing rail joints and furnish new track bolts, furnish and distribute railroad track ballast, track surfacing of existing track and turnouts. .
