In
support of both the MBTA South Boston Piers Station & Tunnel
project and the MBTA Blue Line Track, Signal and Power project,
our Mechanical Division managed and performed the relocation
of several gas utilities within the rights of way. Gas mains
of up to 24" diameter requiring 100% radiograph inspection
were completed with the highest standards of quality.
All
certified welding is performed under stringent performance
criteria, where quality control and quality assurance are
maximized.
This
competence within the J. F. White Co. provides a very efficient
complement to our civil capabilities, allowing for improved
schedule and reduced costs overall.
Having
managed and coordinated significant utility work for the
MWRA on Deer Island, our mechanical personnel are pre-qualified
for the most complex and difficult projects in the field.
