Kendall Square Building B project is located in the middle of Cambridge's industrial area on a 1.14 acre site of land in a rapidly developing and changing neighborhood.
This 6-story research laboratory/office development will be approximately 275,000 sf atop a 6 level parking garage of approximately 236,000 sf, which will utilize slurry wall construction and mass excavation.
J.F. White Contracting Company was responsible for the installation of a five-level internal bracing system, which supported slurry wall construction.
All steel materials for the project were fabricated both on site and in JFW’s yard facility. All bracing steel was removed after the underground garage construction had been completed.
