J.F. White was contracted by the Pacific Boston Holdings Corporation, owner of the Langham Hotel Boston to replace the existing switchgear and associated distribution panels.
J.F. White developed a detailed design and phasing drawings that allowed the equipment to be replaced with the least interruption to hotel function as possible. The project team walked through a fourteen step sequence to completion. Each milestone was achieved early or on time with no unscheduled loss of power.
Included in our scope of work was the replacement of existing ductbank and feeder cable originating from the three sidewalk utility vaults. J.F. White Civil Division performed the demolition, excavation, backfill, and sidewalk restoration work in close coordination with the many City of Boston departments. Total value: $1,400.000.
