Storage Tanks for engine oil, transmission fluid and waste oil.

The Mechanical Division supported J.F. White's construction of the MBTA Arborway bus maintenance facility by installing air compressors, an antifreeze recycle system, above ground storage tanks, pumps and over 6000 feet of small bore piping for the distribution systems. The engine oil and transmission fluid distribution systems consists of dual storage tanks and piping with the ability cross tie to either storage tank.

These distribution systems serve two buildings and includes hose reels with metered control handles. The waste oil system consists of three portable waste oil containers, one evacuation pump station in each building and a piping system to waste oil storage tanks. The compressed air system consists of two rotary screw air compressors with air dryers, an ASME receiver tank, filters and lubrication equipment. The antifreeze recycle system consists of two portable waste antifreeze containers, evacuation pumps and the skid mounted recycle equipment, tanks, filters and pumps. An oil filter crusher and ten portable air operated container sets for 55 gallon drums of chassis grease, gear oil, power steering fluid, antifreeze, and windshield washer fluid were also installed.
