Community InvolvementAs well as client satisfaction, J. F. White is also dedicated to the support and enrichment of the communities in which we live and work. Our involvement fortifies our relationships with those communities and demonstrates our shared commitment to improving quality of life. J. F. White’s community support takes several forms: On the JobsiteIn the bad old days of “Urban Removal”, it was commonplace for construction projects – once approved – to steamroller the objections of impacted communities, treating them basically as obstacles to progress. J. F. White’s approach has always differed: we respect impacted communities, meet with their representatives, seek to resolve valid concerns wherever possible, and attempt to leave them better off than before. In fact, on selected projects JFW has dedicated a full-time employee to community relations.
