J.F. White Electrical Division designed and installed a raceway system that brought the existing vault at Harvard University's Tozzier Library up to code and created a safer working environment. Our team removed the old service conductors and replaced them with new conductors. We relocated the existing power grid along Divinity Avenue to service the Herbaria Building, Divinity Hall, The Greenhouse and the Andover Building.

This was accomplished by installing 2 - 15kV circuits which consisted of 3 - 1/c#500 MCM EPR Shielded MV cables and 1 - 5kV circuit 3-1/c#4/0 EPR Shielded MV cable through the new underground duct system. Several splices were made utilizing 15kV Elastimold fittings and hand applied taped straight splices. 15kV terminations were made at the switchgear.
