Columbus Boulevard Reconstruction and Bridge Replacement

J. F. White Contracting Company has been contracted by the City of Cambridge to perform various improvements and upgrades to the infrastructure of Harvard Square.

The work consists of utility upgrades, curbing, brick pavers and full-depth reconstruction of many of the roadways in and around Harvard Square. This project demonstrates J. F. White's ability to perform work in one of the busiest pedestrian and vehicle convergence zones in the City of Cambridge. The project is a constant challenge due to the aging infrastructure combined with the sensitivities of the long-term tenants and shopkeepers in the area.

J. F. White – working with the City – expects to complete this project in the Spring of 2008.

Contract Value: $5,460,000
