Brandford I-95 ramp

Branford Reconstruction of I95 Ramp

The purpose of the project was to alleviate truck traffic congestion on the old off ramps from I-95. New construction included a 550' 4-lane bridge carrying Leetes Island Road over I-95, and on/off ramps from I-95 southbound. The work also included the widening of 6,000 lf of local roads and reconstruction of 1,500 lf of ramps.

The new bridge was constructed in multiple phases while maintaining interstate traffic on I-95; much of the work was done at night. In order to accommodate truck traffic to and from I-95, the local roadways were constructed in many phases.

J. F. White received high marks from the Connecticut Department Of Transportation for our performance and quality of work.
