J.F. White is part of the joint venture team SEW, Skanska USA-ECCO III-White, creating the world's largest Ultraviolet Disinfection Facility. The New City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Catskill/Delaware System (CAT/DEL) normally provides approximately 90% of the water supply for greater New York city. Upon completion the plant will be capable of disinfecting up to 2,020 million gallons per day. The 1.1 billion dollar contract is scheduled to be complete in 2012.
