DCAM State Lab Jamaica Plain

DCAM has awarded J. F. White the contract for the Emergency Electrical Improvements at the Mass State Laboratory in Jamaica Plain. This project calls for renovations to provide new electrical switchgear and standby power to the Tower building as well as the underground and overhead utilities, HVAC work, plumbing work and fire protection. The accomplishment of this project calls for carpentry, roofing, interior finishes, CIP concrete, utilities work, masonry work and much more. Due to the variety of needs present on the project J. F. White will have the opportunity to showcase its expanse of expertise and the superior cooperation amongst divisions.

 

SEVEN BRIDGES - CSX

J. F. White, in a joint venture with E.T. & L. leading, has undertaken the replacement and reconstruction of seven bridges over CSX rail tracks. The project goal is to elevate the highway vertical clearance to allow for double stack freight trains. Additionally, the joint venture will be responsible for traffic management and roadways transitions. This is a design build project.

Neponset River Bridge Phase ii

The Neponset River Bridge, constructed in 1970, serves as a major artery between Boston and Quincy. The rehabilitation of the bridge is part of the Massachusetts Accelerated Bridge Program. The DCR, Department of Conservation and Recreation, contracted J.F. White to perform all work included in Phase II of this rehab with a main objective to improve public safety. The scope of work includes a new bridge deck, new lighting and new joints.

IP BASED VIRTUAL MATRIX SWITCH VIDEO SYSTEM UPGRADES

This MassDOT ARRA contract provides IP Based Virtual Matrix Switch Video Systems Upgrades (ITS) throughout Boston - at MHD, BTD, MTA & MBTA Operation Centers. J.F.White Electrical is scheduled to complete the work by the end of 2010.
