    Green Line Relocation Haymarket to Science Park

    This MBTA project consisted of relocating the Green Line from the existing viaduct to the new Green Line tunnel through the Bank North Garden (Fleet Center), up a transition structure to meet the existing Science Park Station.

    Electrical work involved a complete Signal & Communication system, including fiber optic, multi pair phlenum rated phone cable, radiax cable, single & multi conductor signal cables ranging in size from #20 to 1/O awg, Two 13.8 KV Unit Substation and associated Motor Control Centers, Two Ventilation Structures, DC Traction Power distribution system for the Overhead Catenary System and Tunnel Lighting. Sub-systems including Fire Alarm, SCADA, Sixteen Telephone (Wayside & Centrex), Radio and Fiber Optic systems.

    The complete Overhead Catenary System included poles, supports, traction power disconnect switches and spring/counter weight tensioning devices.
